VARSITY PROGRAM



CSA offers to its students an opportunity to play with other schools in friendly and wholesome athletic competition. This is made possible through our varsity program. The school is affiliated with many prestigious Metro Manila Sports Association such as the Philippine Athletic Youth Association PAYA, Inter-Scholastic Sports Association, Rizal Football Association RIFA, Inter-Scholastic Tennis Association ISTA, just to mention a few.

The CSA varsity team is composed of the elite athletes in the various sports.Try-outs are conducted by the various coaches to form the varsity teams that will compete against other schools. CSA has varsity teams in Boys and Girls Basketball, Football, Swimming, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess and others. With the help of competent and reliable coaches, wonderful sports facilities and equipment; and endless support from the Augustinian fathers, CSA regularly produces top level athletes a lot of whom end up as recruits ,with great scholarship packages, to prestigious colleges and universities here and abroad.

CSA, also, hosts major events such as the ISTA Tennis tournament ( a five to six month tournament involving almost 20 Metro Manila schools ); RIFA Football Festivals for Children ( 30 or more schools participating ), inter-scholastic volleyball events, swimming meets and others.

These multi-sports events hosted by CSA is further enhanced by CSA’s state –of-the-art sports facilities. CSA has a vast out-door field capable of producing as much as 15 small sized football fields for big festivals. Recent addition is the renovated Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Sports Complex. This houses the fully airconditioned basketball gym, a multi-purpose sports arena, 2 pools, an indoor track oval, 5 beautiful indoor tennis courts, a fitness center among others.
