Celebrating the Gift of Mary

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary—a beautiful reminder of God’s loving plan and the precious gift of Mary to the Church and to all of us. Through her humble yes, Mary became a mother of hope, faith, and love, pointing us always toward her Son, Jesus.

As we rejoice in her birth, may we entrust to her loving care our young people—their dreams, their journeys, and their future. May Mary guide their hearts, protect them from harm, and inspire them to walk with courage, compassion, and faith.

May our Blessed Mother continue to watch over our Augustinian community and the whole world, bringing comfort to those who are hurting, peace to places of conflict, and hope to those who need it most.

Loving Mother Mary,

on this joyful day of your birth, we thank God for the beautiful gift of your life and for your faithful “yes” to His loving plan.
Watch over our young people and guide them as they grow in faith, hope, and love. Protect them from harm, lead them toward what is good and true, and help them become instruments of peace and compassion.

Bless our families, our Augustinian community, and the whole world. In times of uncertainty and difficulty, be our Mother of Hope, bringing us closer to your Son, Jesus. Amen.
