In celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day 2026 and in observance of Science Month this September, our High School Science Department brought learning beyond the classroom through a meaningful Coastal Clean-Up Activity at Manila Bay on September 19, 2026.
Joined by our dedicated teachers and students, the activity was a hands-on expression of our shared responsibility to care for our environment. As they worked together to collect and properly dispose of waste along the coastline, our Augustinians were reminded that even simple acts of service can contribute to a healthier and more sustainable community.
Anchored on this year’s theme, “Clean Seas for Resilient Communities,” the activity highlighted the important connection between environmental responsibility and the well-being of communities. It also gave our students an opportunity to put scientific knowledge into action and become responsible stewards of God’s creation.
May this experience inspire our young Augustinians to continue making choices that protect our environment—one shoreline, one community, and one act of care at a time.
