As we stand at the threshold of a new year, we turn inward before we move forward. Like Saint Augustine, we acknowledge that our hearts are restless until they rest in God. The year past has revealed both our strengths and our wounds, our faithfulness and our frailty—but in all of it, God has been nearer to us than we were to ourselves.
As we begin this year, we entrust our restlessness, our hopes, and our unfinished stories to the One who makes all things new. And with confidence born of faith, we move forward, knowing that the God who has carried us thus far will continue to lead us home.
