In his homily, the Papal Nuncio reflected on the meaning of 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙨, the Latin word for “breath.” He reminded us that our very life is a gift, sustained by the breath of God. Because we have received this divine gift of life, we are likewise called to become instruments of life for others through our words and actions.
He emphasized that the words we speak should always be uplifting, kind, inspiring, and empowering. Just as God breathes life into us, our words and deeds should breathe hope, encouragement, and compassion into the lives of those we encounter. In this way, we become channels of God’s life-giving presence, bringing light and hope to a world that longs for both.
