Remembering our dear Kaibigan, Fr. Horacio R. Rodriguez, OSA, on what would have been his 95th birthday.
His passing left an emptiness that words can hardly describe. Yet, even in his absence, the space he once filled continues to be touched by the legacy he left behind—his kindness, his wisdom, his steadfast leadership, and the genuine care he had for the people entrusted to him.
We remember not only the Rector he was, but the person he chose to be: a mentor who taught by example, a leader who stood firm with compassion, and a kaibigan whose warmth and friendship made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
We are deeply grateful for the privilege of having known him, of having learned from him, and of having shared a part of our journey with him. HIs presence may no longer be with us, but the lessons he imparted, the lives he touched, and the love he gave remain.
Today, we remember him with gratitude, affection, and still, a profound sense of loss.
Happy 95th birthday in heaven, our dear Fr. Horacio, our beloved Kaibigan.
