With profound sorrow, the Augustinian community and the ASEP Department join the Gallego family and loved ones in mourning the untimely passing of John Vincent “JV” A. Gallego, Head Coach of the Colegio San Agustin Makati High School Boys Aspirants and Boys Juniors Basketball Team.
Coach JV will be remembered not only for his dedication to the sport of basketball but also for the passion, guidance, and unwavering commitment he shared with every student-athlete whose lives he touched. His kindness, leadership, and love for the Augustinian community have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations of Augustinians.
As we grieve this significant loss, we offer our heartfelt prayers for the eternal repose of his soul, and extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, players, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
