Admission Requirements

CSA Makati requires all applicants to submit complete digital documents to ensure a fair and accurate evaluation. Choose your applicant type below to see exactly what's needed.

Required of every applicant

  • ✓ Accomplished Student Admission Application Form (SAAF)
  • ✓ 2×2 recent photograph of the applicant
  • ✓ Receipt of payment for the application fee
  • ✓ Accomplished letter(s) of recommendation from the student's adviser, teacher, and/or guidance counselor — sent directly to the chosen evaluator
  • ✓ For IBDP applicants: two teachers must provide independent recommendations, preferably one from English/Language and one from Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies

Filipino applicants

  • ✓ Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
  • ✓ Report Card for the current grade level, including the Learner Reference Number (LRN)
  • ✓ Evaluation Copy (Grades 6–11)
  • ✓ Certificate of Enrollment indicating current grade level and academic year, if currently enrolled — supporting documents may be requested if not currently enrolled

Foreign applicants

  • ✓ Birth Certificate issued by the applicant's country of origin, with an official authenticated English translation
  • ✓ Report Card for the current grade level, with authenticated English translation
  • ✓ Certificate of Enrollment indicating grade level and academic year, with official English translation
  • ✓ Valid visa, ACR, or other applicable immigration document
  • ✓ Copy of passport biopage with expiry date

Other applicant categories

  • ✓ Homeschool: records or portfolio from the homeschool provider or parent-educator, as applicable
  • ✓ ALS: appropriate ALS credentials or certification
  • ✓ Interrupted schooling: explanation and supporting documents, when applicable
  • ✓ Transfer: additional academic records, certifications, or supporting documents, when applicable
OFAD (the Office for Admission) may require additional documents, interviews, or assessments for admission and grade-level placement.

IBDP applicant requirements

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is for students aged 16–19, offered by schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB). IBDP applicants must complete CSA Makati's general admissions requirements and this additional programme-specific evaluation.

  • ✓ Two independent Teacher Recommendations
  • ✓ Additional academic evidence or supporting information, if requested by the school

After admission to the IBDP

  • ✓ Complete the applicable programme confirmation requirement
  • ✓ Subject counselling and HL/SL (Higher Level / Standard Level) placement
  • ✓ IBDP programme commitments and required declarations, and other approved programme confirmation requirements
Transferring from another IB school

Students transferring from another IB school must submit extra programme records for evaluation. Admission depends on programme compatibility, subject continuity, available slots, academic progress, and completion feasibility.

Please note: OFAD may request additional documents, interviews, assessments, evaluations, or other supporting information whenever necessary to complete an applicant's evaluation.

Age Cut-off

Per DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016, as amended by D.O. No. 20, s. 2018 — the DepEd-mandated eligibility date for AY 2027–2028.

October 31, 2027

Applicants must meet the required age on or before this date to be eligible for the corresponding level.

Senior Kinder — special provision

Applicants who turn five (5) years old between November 1 and December 31, 2027 may still be admitted, subject to DepEd regulations, provided they have completed an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) or Pre-Kindergarten program.

Must submit a copy of one of the following: Certificate of Completion, Progress Report, or Report Card.

Grade 1 — special provision

Applicant must have successfully completed Kindergarten.

Must have a Learner Reference Number (LRN) from a DepEd-accredited school.

Important reminder: meeting the age eligibility requirement does not automatically guarantee admission. All applicants must satisfy the School's admission requirements and complete the admissions process in accordance with the CSA Makati Admission Guidelines and Policies.

Please find the applicable testing schedule below. The schedules cover Early Childhood Education screening, onsite testing for Grades 1–11 and IB, and online testing for Grades 1–11 and IB applicants.
