With the theme “Peace Beyond Borders: Bridging Pathways towards International Security and Stability,” the 3rd CSA Intra Model United Nations successfully concluded its 2-day conference last October 3-4, 2025, a gathering of brilliant young minds from Grades 7 to 12, organized by the CSA Young Diplomats’ Circle and JHS Social Studies Area.
A Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of delegates representing different countries. They engage in debates, draft resolutions, and collaborate to address pressing global issues, from climate change and conflict resolution to human rights and sustainable development.
Through this experience, our Augustinian delegates learned the importance of diplomacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and empathy, all essential in understanding and responding to the complex realities the world faces today.
The CSA IntraMUN is one of the highlight activities of this year’s Social Studies Month, themed “Empowering Young Augustinians through AGAPAY: Advocates of Peace, Learners of the World.” It also aligns with the celebration of United Nations Day 2025: “Better Together – 80 Years and More for Peace, Development, and Human Rights.”
Congratulations to all delegates, chairs, and organizers for a meaningful and successful conference! May your voices continue to echo peace beyond borders.
