Today, our ECE family prayerfully begins the Lenten season with the observance of Ash Wednesday.
Through the song we learned in class — “Prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we are meant to repent…” — our young Augustinians are introduced to the meaning of these forty days: a time of simple sacrifice, sincere prayer, generous hearts, and being “super extra nice.”
We thank our dear parents for partnering with us in guiding our students to practice the Lenten good deeds each day, helping them grow in kindness, compassion and love for God and others. May this season be a meaningful journey of faith for our families.💜
