LOOK: Colegio San Agustin–Makati welcomed the return of the Battle of the Bands (BOTB) on Day 3 of the Augustinian Jubilation 2026, providing a platform that showcased student talent while raising funds for Augustinian scholars.
Last held during A.Y. 2023-2024, BOTB’s long-awaited return this year brought a shockwave of performances from seven competing bands: Harana Avenue, Bandang Gilid, Back2Below, Half Past Six, Kubo Shake, 6teen, and Astra.
Grade 12’s Astra was recognized as Champion and awarded the People’s Choice Award, thanks to their electrifying performance.
The band’s setlist featured rock songs like “You Give Love a Bad Name” by Bon Jovi, “Sundo” by Imago, and “Fix You” by Coldplay.
Kubo Shake of Grade 11 won 1st Runner Up, while Grade 8’s Harana Avenue was hailed 2nd Runner Up.
