Our red and gold checkers demonstrated exceptional skill at the recent Inter-Scholastic Sports Association (ISSA) Chess Tournament, held at Xavier School–San Juan on November 29, 2025.
Althea Louise Saplala (10-B), Board 6 Gold Medalist, and Zeus Tyler Magnus Chua (10-B), Board 5 Gold Medalist, showed remarkable determination and strategy as they competed fiercely against their opponents. Under the guidance of their head coach, Mr. Rolando Gacutan, Jr., they showcased the strength and spirit of our team.
